LFCIE will call me the Prince of Darkness for my usual glumness, but I think its time we maybe looked ahead to the future....if there actually is one. The way I see it is that we are going to struggle to even operate next season because:
1. No Ground.
2. No Money
3. No committee. (let's not forget what they did to the club before the good run)
4.The FAI are going to start coming down on us because of the first three.
5.Our key players: Steven O'Mahoney, Paddy, Finny, Brendan Sweeney, Steven O'Flynn, and to a slightly lesser extent, Derek and Heffo are probably going to get deals from other clubs and find it very hard to refuse them. We have no resources to attract new blood to the club, and you can be sure that the LDMC will put the squeeze on junior clubs to not let players go.
Basically, I think we need the miracle investor from heaven to appear....either that or we find a way of rigging the lotto.![]()
