Fair dues to the man,I'd love to see him bang in a few against Inter Milan but the chance of spurs being in europe are like seeing Eamon Dunphy appearing on the late late show.![]()
Keano seems to be doing well he got a hatrick today and he didnt do his cartwheels cos of his association with wolves which was a nice touch apprently the wolves fans gave him a great reception . theres not many players that can say he would get a good reception from the fans of all his old clubs but id say robbie is one of those.

Good to see him score a few, keep the confidence up and all that. Duff was great against Leeds yesterday as well.
Andy Reid got one yesterday aswell.
<insert witty remark>
Great hat trick by Robbie. Nice touch by not celebrating.
He was applauded off the pitch against Coventry in the last round of the FA Cup earlier in the season too, by both sets of fans.
He's just a great lad,full stop.
I'd love to see him play reguraly for one of the 'big boys' in the prem though.Spurs are pure sh!te.
Maybe if Mickey Owen leaves liverpool,Robbie could join them.A couple of years ago he was being described as the 'Irish Owen' by the english media.
I'd love to see keano in europe every year,he's good enough, just look at him at the world cup.And i'd say he's a bit envious of Duffer destroying all the world class defenders in the Champions league.
It would be great to see Robbie get a run with a team playing CL regularly and who knows if he keeps playing the way he is, it may happen. I don't see Spurs getting into Europe in the near future. I've often worried that though Robbie usually plays well he doesn't seem to get amongst the goals often enough but he appears to be much keener in front of goal lately and he's sticking them away.
My big concern about Robbie is that most of his Premiership goals seem to come against the lesser lights. Maybe I'm wrong on this, but I can't seem to remember him scoring too many goals against the likes of Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool etc. The hat-trick against Wolves was a case in point, ditto the one against Everton last year. I'd say if he did bang in a few against some of the top 5, he could well be touted as a new striker for Utd like Viduka, Smith and Defoe are now.
Maybe you should put her on a leash, agent-man.
I think the reason he doesnt score against the heavyweights is that the over all quality of the Spurs team extremely limits his chances of putting the ball in the back of the net. Think when they played Manu last year he hardly saw the ball.
I remember him scoring a couple of goals against Arsenal when he played for Coventry.
One of them was pure class IIRC. Runninng across the goal and volleys it into the corner of the goal he's running from.
I heard a rumour recently that Nicky Butt is going to Spurs.
I wonder Utd need a striker and a right midfielder. Maybe Keane or Simon Davies will go in the opposite direction.
Keano has to be a better option than uniteds 'superstar'(hahaha) striker diego forlan,he's sh!te.
Forlan is sticking them in at the moment and you can't argue with goals. He got 2 great goals against Villa at the weekend.
Saying that however, Keane is by far a better all round player.
Keano is much better than forlan.Forlan is pure sh!te no matter how many goals he gets.I think Robbie would be a much better buy for united than Defoe at west ham.Keane is a proven international striker.
I've never understood the attitude some people have towards a player who's improved.Originally posted by DolansWaistcoat

For example, Danny Murphy was once the worst player Liverpool could field, imo, but he's now quite a good player for them. Likewise, Forlan had an aweful start to his career at United, but he's now showing what he can do. And it's bloody impressive.
Defoe is an overrated player in a lot of ways. He certainly isn't a goal-scorer of any kind. He scored f-all last year, and he's behind Connolly this year.

Apparently Forlan was so bad on Saturday that his teammates were having a go at him! Then up he pops and scores two goals in injury time...
I would never ever call Forlan an 'impressive' striker, are ya mad?The man is like a headless chicken running around the pitch, every time he gets the ball in front of goal he gets a rush of blood to the head and blasts over or wide. He's one of the worst strikers in the premiership without a doubt.CRAP!
I'd love to see fergie see sense and get rid of Forlan and bring in Keano.Imagine the goals Robbie would get playing with united with all the chances they create.
Forlan out,Robbie in!![]()
