Thumbs up Concession Rate Tickets for Social Welfare Receipent

Galway United are offering concession rate tickets to anyone in receipt of a social welfare payment.

Tickets will be on sale from the club office only, up to 5.00pm this evening. Anyone intending to avail of this offer should bring proof of their social welfare payment.

This concession rate will not be available on the gate. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

This was a regular thing when i start going to games. I'm glad to see Galway introduce it and hope it works out well for them.

The reason we cant do it on the Gate is that everyone has a social welfare card whereas years ago you got your dole card. We will be applying it to season tickets next season as people would have already bought their season Ticket by now.
