Ironically the Tom Baldwin ,(ref eleven-a-side article above) who left with Connoly at the time of his Oriel departure has a son in the Youth set-up at ....you guessed it STOCKPORT COUNTY!!
I would hazard a guess that it's "a job for the boys" scenario as Jim Gannon was given his first taste of management by the aforementioned men at Dundalk as well as taking young Baldwin in as a player at Edgeley Park....best of luck to them all!
