No let-off for Lansdowne - Rooney
FAI Chief Executive Fran Rooney has revealed that Ireland may have to play their home games for the forthcoming World Cup qualification campaign outside of Ireland - despite speculation to the contrary this week.
It had been claimed in some quarters of the media that Uefa had given the FAI a reprieve relating to the temporary seating arrangement on Lansdowne Road’s north and south terraces.

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
I'll have to find out if this applies to Rotterdam's Kuip stadium also. They also have temporary seating in the forward rows behind the goals. It would explain why Holland have been playing in Amsterdam recently...
