    B&B Help

    Hi

I was just wondering could anyone help me.

I am probably looking for a needle in a hay stack but anyway. I am a Waterford United fan, and I am hoping to go to our game against ye on the 1st of August. What I need help with is finding a guesthouse/B&B as close to Galway city centre as possible. Now I fully understand that it's right in the middle of the Galway Races, but all help or suggestions, would be welcome.

there is a recession on so you will have no prob. There are lots of lovely B&Bs on College Rd ...only 5 mins walk from Eyre Sq.

    Book online at www.irelandwest.ie

Or you could try The Western Hotel on Prospect Hill or Garvey's, Eyre Square/ Forster St.

Apologies for bouncing an old thread (again!) but I'm looking for a B&B so I can get to a game soon. I've stayed in College Road before so I know that area, but what I'd like to know is - is it easy enough to walk to/from the Travelodge on a match night i.e. nice well-lit roads with pavements?
    Thanks.
