Maybe it looked better because everyone got under the shelter due to the rain, but yeah you're probably right.
    You've got no fans.

Eh problem? No problem here biy.

I thought there would be more of a crowd at it tbh, and so did a lot of City fans. This is the "best supported team in the LOI" after all. And the "great sporting public of Cork".

Not having a go or anything, just thought it might attract a few more since it could have been CCFC's last game.

There was 50 around the ground anyway. Was in the main stand, so it was hard to see what was in it exactly.

There was about 420 there we made it. genuinely don't know where ET got that 286 figure, but they must have got it from someone.
That's usually the paid-in total that some at the club insist on releasing as the official attendance, but for this match the paid-in was up towards 350.
An awful shame to be arguing over such paltry figures though.

no way was there that many. 150 IMO, 180 max. They only just half filled there allocation which is 300.

Even though it was a poor crowd, just scrapping the 1000 mark, it was probably up on other matches that are scheduled during race week, which usually only hit the 6-700 mark.

As established before, I have ahem...difficulties guessing crowd figures, however, Tallagh must have been pretty close to sold out yesterday? There was certainly a long queue for tickets when we were going in and the main stand looked pretty full.

It sold out, apparently the last few in the queue got turned away. I'd say the third biggest crowd this year, just behind the first game and the Bohs game.

That's what it said on MNS alright.

There were spare seats in the City end, but I guess Rovers keep strict segregation (is it a requirement to have a clearly segregated section ?).

New stand will apparently be ready for visit of Dundalk later this month, so will be good to see how many they can get when there isn't such a small limit.

Not a requirement, and when pats where there there was no real segregation at all.

No real segregation at our match on Sunday. Rovers fans sitting side by side with Derry fans and although there was an announcement that Derry fans would have to wiat 10 mins after the game, it wasn't enforced.

Dismal crowd at Pats-Dundalk. Around the 1,000 mark I'd say.

It rained non stop all day Friday. The match mightn't have gone ahead for 2 reasons:
    1. The club was history
    2. the pitch was unplayable

On the way to the match I thought we'd do well to get over 3K
    I'm what? I'm ants at a picnic?

They must have been formally doing some type of segregation though, as there were noticably a lot of empty seats at the away end.

Not in reality. We just went to the left hand side (Block A?) as usual, but there were Rovers fans right beside us.
Loads of spare seats about though. They should have sold those seats and even asked us to move to one big group rather than leaving people outside.
