Rooney urges quick decision
FAI Chief Executive Fran Rooney was urged for the Government to make a quick decision on the joint proposal by his organisation and the IRFU to redevelop Lansdowne Road between 2005 and 2008.
The project – which is slated to cost in the region of Eur250m, a third of which would be put by the sports bodies – would give a 50,000 all-seated capacity to the new Lansdowne Road.
