Richie Baker has signed with the New England Revolution. Deal completed within the last week or so.

The consensus amongst supporters in New England is that he could see time playing on either wing, his best chance to start coming wide-left.

I think he could be a success over there, I wish him the best anyway. He's no man of the century but he's got a bit of class

I don't think anyone's looking for him to be a miracle-worker,but he does seem to possess a background and set of skills that would appeal to the sensibilities of Steve Nicol and now Paul Mariner (new Asst. Coach).

Sounds like he might enjoy a change of pace anyway, and he might be surprised at the standard of play here - might be a good personal challenge as well.
