Rovers appoint Wright as goalkeeping coach
Shamrock Rovers have pulled off something of a coup by appointing Tommy Wright as the club's new goalkeeping coach. Rovers manager Michael O'Neill has moved for Wright after the former Ballymena United boss departed the role at Norwich City after the sacking of Glenn Roeder.
Wright won over 30 caps for Northern Ireland, featuring at the same period as O'Neill. Rovers face Bray Wanderers in their opening game of the League of Ireland season next week.
