Why Shels over achievers? They are an extremly good side who play ball on the deck and lets face it let Dundalk get promoted...once shels learn to close out games and punish teams properly they will be back in the premier. Then they will give Dundalk their cummuppance!!!!

i travelled the country up and down last season supporting shels, and even ventured to oriel some thursday nights to watch our rivals! Dundalk only won the league due to our inexperience, we played far more football and every neutral will agree shels were the better side last season. congrats on promotion but football was the real loser in the first division last season!!! shels will win league this year against far better competition than last in sporting franchise, limerick & Mons!!

I love the way alot of you predict Sean Connor to be the first manager to go but yet dont see Dundalk finishing in the bottom three!

He will go early, and be replaced by John Gill who will steer them clear of trouble

I’m not pedantic...I’m merely overly concerned with minute details.

Half the Dundalk team seem to have been nominated for best signing.
