Shamrock Rovers role for Wright
Tommy Wright was on the coaching staff at Norwich City
Former Northern Ireland goalkeeper Tommy Wright has been appointed as goalkeeping coach of League of Ireland club Shamrock Rovers.
Wright recently lost his job as Norwich City's goalkeeping coach, following Glenn Roeder's departure from the club.
During his playing career, Wright was at several English clubs including Newcastle United and Manchester City. He has also managed Ballymena United and Limavady and was linked with the then vacant Glenavon job last month. Rovers are managed by Wright's former Northern Ireland international colleague Michael O'Neill.
Ha Ha.
Mentalist. Sure he will go down well some of the Rovers support as he can throw a punch or two...
