    Pre-Season Friendlies

Just wondering when we'll be hearing about potential Friendlies?

according to Gael on another thread there's one this weekend against unknown opponents at an unknown venue and the following weekend against Galway in Tulla? I'm sure he'll explain all soon enough. The Club website is 'nt up to much lately, running about 2 months old with any info.

This is precisely why I asked. There were some mumblings on the GUFC forum about the game in Tulla alright, but no more than the usual speculation. Fortunately, a few of the posters on here are heavily involved in the club so hopefully we'll know when they do.

Lot of lads heading to Dublin Saturday for a fans game against Bohs (I think) but there still might be a handful.

IF it goes ahead I think you can count on myself and SLK at least.

Indeed so. Can we drink the water there or should we bring our own?

Not sure Galways's new signings will fancy the likes of Ferrycarrig on a dark winter night.

    I shan't be there.

House party to set up for on Saturday night as well as a gig (not mine obviously) so that shall take up my Saturday

If you're choosing that Harpist over a Limerick pre-season game then I shall have to come around to Monkfish's way of thinking about you!

Ooh now I'm torn. Between a desire to go to the game and blow up wherever this show is going down.
