Yes..
Is it tonight at 8pm?
Yes..
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.
It will be inetresting what team Cook has out, i would imagine it will be close to the team that will start next week v Cork City.
whats our first choice 11 lads?
Brush
keane Peers Ventre Holmes
Cash O'Grady Ryan Morrison
Boco Parkhouse
Thoughts lads?
I believe Almedia is to have an operation on an achillies injury and could miss 3 months of the season....
With the current injuries I'd go with:
Brush
Keane Peers Ventre Holmes
Cash O'Grady Ryan Morrison
Boco Cretaro
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.
Cretaro suspended for first two league games...
Is Ryan back from his injury yet?
rovers line up
Brush
Noctor keane peers holmes
Morrison ventre o'grady doherty
Parkhouse boco
well noctor has a head injury so take off as precaution , ryan on, keane gone right back , ventre gone centre back , rovers better team so far
one nil rovers penalty from doherty after keane was brought down in box
Was all rovers leadin up to half time anyway had a shot saved well by cullen and another off the crossbar

Nice, good to hear they are playing better.
2 0 now another penalty doherty again . Raf on for morrison , poor game , parkhouse looks off the pace , keane and holmes decent enough
Not so good that there was no goals from open play, lets hope we get lots of penalties this season.![]()
Anyone have the Harps line up?
Any players on Harps side stand out?
I have never been to a good friendly match whether it is international or club teams that are involved. Nobody bursts a gut and managers are just trying to see as many of his squad as possible, so we should not read too much into these games but agree they are necessary
Much improved performance from the Dundalk match but against much lesser opposition.
Keane and Holmes were very solid once again and are looking like two very shrewd signings.
Parkhouse was better and he obviously has excellent technique and showed a few very neat touches that would indicate there is more to him than just a big target man up front. He had an excellent header tipped over the bar by the Harps keeper in the first half. his work rate still needs to go up several notches but certainly there is potential.
Noctor once again did very well until he got a bad head injury after a half hour and was replaced by Ryan who also did well.
As for Morrison. I am very reluctant to tempt fate but I think he might be the signing of the decade for us. He provided moments of pure magic on Friday night, especiallly in the first half and when he get's to full match fittness we might - and I stress might - be in for something very special this season.
As for Harps they seemed to be very young and very ordinary with no one standing out for them. Ian Rossiter was solid enough at the back and their keeper seemed ok.
Very poor crowd.
I am reluctant to say it but I think we might not do all that bad this season.
