that squad is very light isnt it. no doubt there is some quality there but if there are a few injuries during the season limerick could struggle. dont think daly and o brien are good enough they are coming from a very poor u20 side. i dont see wayne colbert in there a mistake i presume...
Squad list so far.
Only 15 names there, I assume the club will be signing more players.
Dereks very young and very small, signing mainly for experience I'd say.i thought it was that Derek Daly but wasnt to sure..Being honest lads he is no where near good enough..I dont no who O Brien is..Will he be good enough..What do ye think lads
O'Brien is handy enough very versatile and importantly is left legged.![]()
Any news on Wayne Colbert and Tommy Barrett, i would have taught they'd have been amongst the first players to re-sign
Lads, whether Daly is or he isn't good enough, it's not right to be classing him as nowhere near good enough when he's barely kicked a ball at this level.
LTiD is right, if he is young and he is small then he's obviously being signed for the experience and is thought to have potential.
No idea whether he watches what's written on this site but if he does then he should disregard pimpong's comment and keep working hard. Maybe we don't need him this season but we'll always need young, clearly ambitious lads like him in years to come.
Good luck to Derek, and to Eoin, we'll support you as long as you put the effort in and maybe if you find out who pimpong is you can pick him out in the crowd and leather a ball off him during the warm up![]()
Ha?
I didnt mean it like that i was talking about this year course the lad can get better and more experience..Training with the more experienced lads will make him a better player and i would love to see the young lad do well..I hope it works out for him but i think this year is to soon..Its a big step up
anyone hear if Conar Molan is signing

Jason Hughes was injured last night playing for Irish schools. He was taken to hospital with a suspected broken ankle but its seems its not that serious thankfully but he will be out for 4-6weeks.
Best of luck in your recovery Jason.

We definatley need molan. 5 defenders isn't enough for the squad. Barr that though the squad looks very good and i'd be pretty optimistic about the season ahead.
