Are all the non-? ones confirmed?
Where are they now? Is there anyone we're likely to pick up?
Looks like -
Matt Gregg - Bohs
Billy Brennan - staying
Alan Mahon - retired
Ian Bermingham - Rovers
Conor Kenna - Drogheda? Though it was confirmed, though it's not on the main transfers thread
Alan McNally - Drogheda
Evan McMillan - staying
Brian Shortall - ?
Ronan Finn - staying
Brian King - still at Stockport? Going to Drogheda?
Pat McWalter - Wicklow GAA
Shane McFaul - Sporting Fingal
Shane Fitzgerald - free agent
Shane Duggan - Cork
Timmy Purcell - free agent; trial at Galway
Darren Meenan - Shels
Presume I've missed one or two.
Are all the non-? ones confirmed?
We're not arrogant, we're just better.
To the best of my knowledge, but part of the point of the thread was to confirm that.
Bump.
Four days to the first game - what news on Timmy, Kinger, Shorty and Fitz? dman - any ideas?

Was talking to someone who golfs with Podge's dad, and he was saying one of the main factors in Podge's decision to switch codes was the distance to be travelled in the Discover Ireland division. Makes you wonder (a) if he'd come back if we get promoted and (b) if a regionalised First Division, merged with the teams in or looking to join the A League, would make for a stronger league overall.
It is indeed, so far as I'm aware. Would be u19 this season? I can only assume it's the same guy...
That's him alright. First year Commerce apparently, so should be 17/18.
Kinger signing for Drogheda, according to a post on their forum today.
Matt Gregg - Bohs - didn't play. I haven't see the subs bench; I presume he was there though.
Ian Bermingham - Rovers - played whole match v Bray.
Conor Kenna - Drogheda - played whole match v Derry.
Alan McNally - Drogheda - played whole match v Derry.
I haven't seen teams yet for Cork, Shels or Fingal, so I don't know about Duggan, Meenan or McFaul, though Paul Byrne scored for Fingal and Quigley was in nets.

COnan scored.
Edit - sorry, it was Philip Hughes (Batman)

It was Philip Byrne, defender for them.
Yep, mea culpa. Batman now plays for Phoenix.
Edit - and of course, Byrne and Hughes are completely different names.![]()

Shane Fitzgerald has signed for us AFAIK. He was at the match last night with all his GUFC gear. Is he a decent winger? Heard good things about him.
The future's bright......maroon and white
Very, very fast. He tends to run into blind alleys though. If he gets a decent bit of space, he can be dangerous. You might remember him destroying Jeff Kenna down the wing for our first goal against you guys in Terryland last year.

I agree with Schumi - he has pace to burn, but his delivery is poor. He'll definitely be of some use, but if he starts scoring or improves his crossing, he'll be a very good player.
