Would like to see a short pre-season show the monday before the season kicks off. I know its probably too late at this stage but a show discussing the comings and goings between the clubs and what has happened in the off season, with disscusions on who will be favourites etc... would be a good way to kick start the 09 season.
yeah i agrree it would be class that
DUNDALK FC BACK WHERE IT TRULY BELONGS IN THE PREMIER DIVISION.....A club with history, traditions, great fans....
We Are the people's Club
Agreed. I often recorded it and watched it later, especially in July and August when there are lots of other things to be doing rather than watching TV.
Also, rearranged games, Setanta Cup games and FAI Cup replays are often played on Monday nights at the same time as MNS.
Nobody knows us, we don't care
I agree.
Also, the last section of the last episode just makes me hungry for the league to start again. It was MNS at its best:

I wouldn't have thought up against all the soaps was really a prime time slot anyway. At the moment they have Against the Head on in that slot so they aint shifting anything.
If you attack me with stupidity, I'll be forced to defend myself with sarcasm.
MNS is still Mon night at 8.02 Trust me.![]()

People, it seems to be on Monday at 8.00 again. Can people stop reacting unless the hear otherwise and quote your source as well. And hearing it off a guy in the pub is not a good enough source.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
We are plagued with this on the GUST website with evrything being posted anywhere on the internet being taken as gospel.

In any case, there's this wonderful new invention called "the Internet", which allows you to watch MNS whenever you want.
And since you've found the ability to post on here, accessing it shouldn't be a problem.
All joking aside, the FAI accepted a significantly lower TV package bid from RTE in order to secure the primetime slot. I can't see them giving it up without a lot of money changing hands.
Yep dial-up is still the only option for hundreds of thousands of people in 21st century Ireland. What a great country we live in.

Would it kill em to show goals from Div 1? Give each club a decent enough camera, train some intrested young fella who's studying media or something and Bobs your uncle, would certainly stir up intrest in the lower league.

With there being one less premier division game each weekend this season, they should also cover the top first division game each week. It won't cost them any more than last season as they will be still doing 6 games each weekend.
