We'll be paying commercial rent to the council but we won't be paying other clubs as before and contributing to their income. Big difference.
We've always paid rents for our grounds, even in Milltown. We're not the only club to fully own our ground. Other grounds like ours around the country are owned by county councils, e.g Cork. It's still bar technicalities the club's own grounds, and this one will be ours.

I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.
In this country though, people think it's wrong to rent something. That's why the property boom snapped. Everyone was obsessed with having their own home.
ahem, Televised games 2009.....
Just seen there now they are advertising the Dundalk vs Bohs game already on TV. This must be a first, advertising a week before the game.
Fair play for the early coverage
Sorry, I deleted a message above in error !
#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), first Irish club to win points in a group stage in Europe (2016).
Galway Utd and Sligo Rovers will be live on Friday March 27th, announced on Galway Bay FM sports news at 6 o'clock
Has there been a live game announced for next Friday the 20th? Both Bohs vs. Rovers and Dundalk vs. Drogheda are on that night..
You got on tv last week anyway.Originally Posted by Dunny
