Derry 1 Bohs 0

Looks like Derry are favourites now lads. 2 points clear of UCD going into the final day. Derry play Waterford away with UCD at home to Longford i think. Still think Derry need the 3 points though but i fancy them now.

re;

I think derry would be the better game to play,ucd are probably better defensively than derry and would be a tougher game.I think it's still in the balance ucd could beat longford and waterford will probably beat derry.

agreed....however, i wouldn't imagine that confidence is at an all time high with you at the moment, and throw in our record against ye and the longest unbeaten and winning run in the EL this season and I'd safely say that ye're s h i t t i n g it right now!!

nah..I wouldn't say that. You are the ones that have everything to loose at this stage.

We lost it the minute Hannigan came through the door so if we managed to get that playoff spot it would be nothing short of a miracle now.

The monaghan game was the first time we have had a full squad since june so at least we can play the game with our best players availiable.

We have too many seasoned campaigners in our team to be s h i t t i n g it now.

If we can somehow manage to stop Hannigan at the Laois/Offaly border I reckon we have a decent chance.

UCD please

Without wanting to overlook the Kildare game which of course we need to get something from first, I'd prefer UCD to Derry in the play-off. Just easier to get to and home from ...though for a night out Derry'd win hands down.

The bottom line is that we're the form team, the home team and have a good record against Kildare. Nobody should be under any illusions that the game is already won or anything like that. However we should be considered favourites and justifiably so.

I also think it's blowing smoke to say that Kildare have nothing to lose compared to us. We never expected to reach the playoffs this year and have already overachieved wildly. However Kildare fans were quite outspoken regarding their prospects for the season on the eL MB. They may be conveniently choosing to forget such proclamations now though!
The ball is round and has many surprises.
