Snugboro good side I didnt mean that in a disrespectful way was just saying dont get to excited, ,eric reilly, shane & Benny nallen,2 gaughans, Micky togher, Johny Donoghue thats 7 players that usually start.. thats enough now we'l just let the football do the talking. should be a huge occassion when Iorras take on Bohemians in a friendly on 26th june. Great 4 Mayo soccer apparently there bringing there full squad down.

Just admit it manuman, you had a few pints last night, came on here, seen a few people were writing off Iorras and you had a bit of a rant. We've all been there. Sure half the people on here are drunk.

Important to have a strong squad, that was one of Snugboros strengths last year, 20 lads all fighting for a place, keeps it competitive. It might be there downfall this season.

Cant be giving away important team news like that. Next you will want to know the statring 11 and what formation the manager is going to use. Nice try

Why were they missing. When the gaa and football clash who will the choose to play for, then we will know if Iorras will be in with a shout of coming second behind Utd.

Well sure we'l see what happens I guess!! your entitled to your opinion.. As far as I know the 2 wont clash to often this year, I know its tough going but it is possible to play both sports & if they do have the gaa players they wont be far away, what do ye think?

Bar Paul Curry, Russell & Barry who are you missing from last season. See you have signed ex Celtic player Paul Flanagan and Niall Gallagher and Griffin from Manulla/Ballyheane and a polish lad. Sounds if Boro did OK

They should do alright when everyone is fit but at various stages they'll be missing people and I was just saying thats when your squad comes in useful. They should have a panel of 16 when everyone is fit and theres no reason why they can't call up 3 B lads to occupy spaces on the bench when necessary. If Johan and Damo get a solid 11 committed to training and playing every week, then they'll have a good season. Won't go giving away any valuable team information but from a squad of 20 named at the beginning of 2008, 10 players have left for various reasons but replaced by 6 good players that you've mentioned. Paul Curry is a big loss though.

Best of last years B team minus retirees plus young lads and cast offs from the 'A' panel I take it?!

Should be alright...best of luck anyway!

"westport" "westport" "westport"....iorras always give them a good game there not all there made out to be beleive me i know what I'm talking about. The westport lads are honest footballers and they'd be the first to tell you how tough of a game iorras give them. whats this bulls**t about iorras and GAA players???????Iorras have a few Gaa players, what difference does that make? they are commited to both teams and fareplay to the lads. Iorras won't be relegated beleive me, its between Iorras and Westport this year scroll back to this qoute at the end of the super league and you'l see, Iorras were missing 10 players from first team squad the weekend!!! how would westport do against snugboro with ten players from first team squad absent.. doesent say much for snugboro only winning 2-1..............In my opinion Kilmore are more of a threat to Iorras and westport than some of the teams that are been listed as serious canditates..wake up and smell the roses lads give credit where credit is due..no disrespect to snugboro just think peple are writing off iorras at a very early stage Iorras love that though and will thrive on it!!
be great if they could prove all the "experts" wrong and finish outside of the relegation zone....have they a chance? how they shaping up?

I was at the game and the three nil scoreline is not particularly representative of the match. It was nil all and quite even at half time, Manulla scored immediately after the break with a good finish by their no.7 'killer''. The other two goals were a simple mistake from our keeper and a goal in the last minute from an utterly offside position. Manulla deserved the win, but just about and we were missing key players. Interesting to see they could not put out a full bench even. On this performance they will be well off the pace in the Super league. But then so will we...

    Celtic 1 S&F 3

Celtic missed penalty at 1-1 and utd took their chances. Nothing much between the teams. S&F not bad considering all the players that has left but their back four will leek goals as will ours. Mid to bottomf or both teams. Celtic will improve once they get the leaving certs back.

Once you get leaving certs back You cant be depending on a few 17 year olds to strengthen a team in the SL surely?

I agree with point above, think it'll be a dog fight relegation battle for about 5 teams including us, kilmore and ballyheane.

Hopefully we can improve on the result against Manulla this weekend by getting something against ye

    Any other results? Kilmore, Ballyheane?
