Nice to get something here, they will still be confident with the likes of Stevie Gavin. You'd never know we'll be determined to get something outta the game anyway![]()
Watched the end of the Ballina town Snugboro game last Sunday. Great pitch, good football at a great pace. Good ref (J. Blake). I had never seen a super league game before and I was really impressed. Credit to all clubs and to the Mayo League for their high standards.
As an aside stop the bickering lads it is making you look fierce immature.
Can someone confirm this is John Durkan's email address:

2-0. Not going very well.
2-0. Not going very well. And Snugboro down to 10 men
Result: Snugboro 0 Fahy 2, Snugboro totally played of the park, outplayed outbatteled, great team performance.![]()
Kilmore 0-0 Celtic
Fair assessment. We were fairly up for it. Absolutely unreal performance from Joe Keane in centre half again, man of the match for all three games we have played. He really should be a walk-in for the Oscar Traynor squad. Snugboro seemed a little lacking in bite up front and resorted to putting Yohan on as a striker to rough up our defenders. That didn't work. Fahy tried to play the ball on the ground as usual, contrary to popular opinion, and hit the bar three times. The Snugboro centre half, Mark something, is a class act. Gary Goggins worked really hard, Pat Mc Nally did exceptionally well for a man playing out of position, Tomas Keane took care of Stevie G when he came on, Fran Sheridan held up ball and won every header. In fairness, Snugboro went down to nine men by the end due to Stevie Gavin having to go off injured after the three subs had come on, and a really unnecessary sending off. Fahy deserved the three points in the end though, and set a marker for the rest of the season. Long may it last. With Westport coming next week we need all the confidence we can get.
On a different note, our full back Peter Heraty broke his collar bone in an act of selfless defending which typified our whole performance. Best of luck recovering to him. Also, Snugboro were very gracious in defeat, and are a sound bunch of lads who will come back stronger.

fair play to fahy, great win for ye out there. 6 points from 3 games is a good start.
on celtic behalf, suppose a point down there isn't to bad. 4 points from 3 games isn't too bad either with two away games out of the way. hopefully the lads can get back to winning ways at home to manulla next week.
anyone know the westport-ballina result or the s & f-ballyheane result??
Westport 3, Ballina Town 2
S & F 1, Ballyheane 2
