    Hotels close to Croker

I have a friend and his young son travelling from Bulgaria for the match.

He is looking for a hotel within walking distance from Croker.

    Has anyone any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance.

The Jurys across the road is within spitting distance never mind walking distance. Bound to be having deals on with the state of the hotelier industry, otherwise any hotel around the O'Connell St area will be a ten/fifteen minute walk from the ground.

they dont. we booked in 26 lads and they would only give us 99euro for the two nights, after some serious negotiating. They were trying to tell me they were booked out which was a lie, and they eventually came down from 129 euro each. Which is a big difference multiplied by 26.

99Euro per Night or for 2 nights? and is that for a twin?

I just paid 95E per night for a twin for Jurys in Christchurch.
I thought you were off the drink Ronnie?

They realised "pos" and 25 members of his "Boys Brigade" was a potential insurance disaster!

I stayed in that Jurys before - nice hotel - think I paid 70euro for one night - double room. There were no games on in Croke Park at the time though so they might increase their prices then.

In fairness paul that's not too bad.....we are staying at O Callaghan's Mont Clare and they are charging 115 euro per twin room

I tend to stay at the Academy Plaza or Jury's on Parnell Sq. I stayed at the Maldron for the Georgia game and that was sound enough. 65 euros for a double.

The Avoca guesthouse, a small hotel really, is good it's on Cloncliffe rd. We stayed there last summer for 100euro for the 2 of us. It's close to the Botanic Gardens too which are worth a look at. The Gresham does deals as well and it's not too far away.
