Where did you hear or dream this??

Grand he had a good season with us last season but hes been rotting away at shams. I don't know if he'd be welcomed back, you know the whole reynolds rot in hell thing etc etc etc. Are you joking?? You would be one of the minority who would welcome him even if he is a good soccer player but if it wins us the league i don't care if the devil himself signs but signing reynolds would be close enough to that

Oh, well we'll see in the next few months.....

I think he was a huge loss to us this year. He was our best player last year. I would welcome him back. I never held it against him for leaving.

Now its time to sit back and wait for the torrent of abuse..

ye are unbelieveable, for any club (esp. Cork + Longford) to take Reynolds back would be the most horrible thing you could do to loyal supporters... The man has no spine, he might be a class player on his day but taking him back is crazy talk. I, for one, would love to see that he never played premier division football again... scum...

seemingly the only reason Fenlon has lost interest in signing him is that he couldn't keep his trap shut on his move...

i thought he was our best player last season, but i think taking him back would be daft.

He's had a club per season for a while now, continuing the trend next season, he's done nothing to suggest he wouldn't continue it after another year with us. we need to build a strong and consistent midfield, he might give us the former, but we'd spend the season wondering where he's off to next.

Yeah Reynolds has no loyalty to any club & not the player to build any midfield around.

From what Rovers fans are saying, the Rat himself has gone the ole Kevlin Flanagan route.

He'd be on a full time players wage but most likely training part time and keeping his blow job.

I'd be fairly torn, but if he adds to our midfield, then i'd take him with open arms.

On the Flanaghan thing, well shams seem to have it in for him because he hasn't produced the form for them which he did for us. That said, when you play for a useless shower like Shams, the mediocrity can only rub off.

    Welcome home????

As much as I despise him, if he would be a good addition to the first 11 i would take him back.
However, as has already been said, he doesn't know the meaning of the word loyalty and could desert us at any time also he's been playing sh!t with Homeless so bearing all that in mind, we're probably best steering clear of him.

Well there's the solution then. Go follow Ramblers

IF we were to take the Rat back we'd need to tie him to a binding contract and make sure he doesnt run. I'd say a banner along the lines of "Rennie Your On Parole" would gt the message across.

Don't want him back. Not as if he was a brilliant player for us anyway.

Be amazed if any of this rumour true.

This would hardly be a step forward for City. He has had a brutal season with Rovers and would not want to go full time.
While I did think he had a great season with us, surely our club has moved forward, beyond Reynolds and his type of attitude.

Id take him back, but you'd have to put him (and all other players) on at least a 2 year contract. I dont think that there's much point in signing a part-time player though, we need a full-time squad (even if its smaller then the one we already have).
As I say, we're just young & a bit nieve.

I have no doubt he is a good player and that we have missed him, but re-signing him would be a slap in the face to the fans and to the players who stayed loyal to the club. Honestly, it was not so much the fact that he left, but the manner of it which got to most people. I think if we are really looking to challenge for the league next season, we should be looking at better players than alan reynolds.

    He is not welcome !!
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
