Flynns V Longford was the best goal EVER scored in Turners X.

Omans goal for Bohs, has to be the most over rated goal of all.

Rutherford Vs City was OK, but ive seen far better.

Georges Vs Longford was outstanding. His turn and finish were outstanding.

Ollies Vs Drogs was a bit special as well.

I'd give it to Flynns Vs Longford. he wasnt even looking, the keeper wasnt that far off his line, yet he had the audaacity to try it.

Flynn's aganist Longford was class but I think his goal against Drogs was better, the way he trapped the ball and turned was fantastic.
However, I think Georgie's in Longford beats them all, his and Flynny's link up play was brilliant.

Think Georgie's against Longford was class,
    also Flynny's V Drogs

I agree. IMO "Goals of the Seasons" should be about skill and trickery and something different, not about a fella throwing his leg at a ball and it miraculously going in!

Has to be L: Oman vs. $hels, reminds me of my glory years when I used toe punt goals from miles out into the top corner, that was a real Bobby Charlton effort.

Best goal I've seen this year was Peter Rodgers goal from in his own half ala Beckham v Cobh Ramblers (Helped that the keeper was trying to score a goal).

I'm assuming its league goals only here, as theres no sign of any of those Sligo goals. Nevr seen them , but by all accounts, crackers, each and every one of them.

    Contenders:
    D: Kirby vs. Drogs
    G: Flynny vs. Longford
    H: Barrett vs. Pats
    I: Flynny vs. Drogs
    M: Reilly vs. Shams
    N: Heary vs Shels

    Also rans.
    A: Rutherford vs. City
    B: Georgie vs. Longford
    C: J. Byrne vs. Pats
    E: McHugh vs Galway
    F: Cahill vs Drogs
    J: Francais vs. UCD
    K: Holt vs. Waterford
    L: Oman vs. Shels

Think Rico choosing the winner & he got track record of choosing team goals so could select Rutherfords?

O'Flynn v Drogs probably best for me. Individual brilliance & no fluke + Rico (or was it Kinger?) praised it to death on tv3.

I'd say O'Callaghans was the best.

Oh and Barrett's goal wasn't against Pats.

If we all decide on one and vote for it, it will be picked. Probably.

Stupid competition - until all goals are captured on TV, how can it be goal of the season?

TV3 eL League Goal of the Season for games we bothered our holes to cover.....
If you attack me with stupidity, I'll be forced to defend myself with sarcasm.

We know as much as anyone about that.
Plenty games at the X where no TV station bothered to turn up.
Also suffered in some of our away games.

All moans aside, it's better than nothing and at least some of the quality on offer has been captured on film for posterity.

Chin up Macy, the UEFA Cup gets loads of coverage

Flynnys vs Drogs was pretty amazing...great celebration too

Its a disgrace that they can't even be arsed to send out a cmera to cover some of the City games. I mean, ffs its one poxy camera at an entire TV channel(even if it is TV3!). Its stupid. They should at leat warn City fans that theyre not gonna show them, as then we don't have to sit around all nite waiting for something thats not gonna be on. Retards.
