    Who gave it as a Coleman goal? Was pretty obvious live it was an OG. It was either going wide or going to hit Lukaku so has to be an own goal.

    Sky Sports initially reported it as Coleman's goal.

    Then is it downgraded to an assist for Coleman?

    If the goal counted, I think that would have been just the second round of football in which Irish players scored more than Scots in the PL this season.

    if only there were a way to prove that.
    Like say, a list on the premier league's website of each round of fixtures and the goalscorers therein.
    Which, of course, there is - https://www.premierleague.com/results
    Get to it.
    All goals, yellow and red cards tweeted in real time on mastodon, BlueSky and facebook

    Gameweek 6 and Gameweek 18 but I think the real question is why would we compare ourselves to the Scots, or in particular why do you continue to do so. It made sense when they were in our group but why now?
    Goals by Scots=28
    Goals by Welsh=15
    Goals by Irish=13
    Goals by N.Irish=8
    Goals by English=188

    I just think it's a peculiar anomaly. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't trade our qualifying record for theirs.

    Stats are a bit better if you look back to when football was invented in 1992
    https://www.premierleague.com/stats/...rs/goals?se=54
    Scotland = 962 in 106 players
    Ireland = 932 in 94 players
    Wales = 873 in 65 players
    N. Ireland = 234 in 35 players

    Might stick the 94 in sporcle and see how people get on.

    Robbie has scored 13.5% of the Irish total (since football was invented).

    It's one of those theoretical numbers, like pi, or e, or i

    From the age of 5 onwards, with his prodigy cred already established, Robbie was too busy planning out his football career.

    I'm not particularly mathematical, but I was sure that e i always needed an addy o.
