This is all we need. Some Danny Dire wannabe dragging up for Joe Public the worst element of our league. Potential to put off descent fans and attract the worst kind.

It will be interesting to see how the two clubs and the FAI respond to this. We''l get a good idea of where all three parties are with all of this these days.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Question: Have any Rovers or Bohs fans made the FAI aware of this? Or does anyone know if the FAI are aware of this issue at all, and have contacted TV3?

I'm sure the people making the documentary, during research process will have contacted both clubs for their opinions on it

I think the criticism of TV3 is not valid. Often when I see Sports Tonight it has LOI coverage & they show goals on Friday nights. The quality may not be great but they have small budget. Lets remember RTE had to be essentially paid/bribed 5m to produce MNS.

No, its on March 16th according to someone on the Bohs forum.

Showed a clip of the fracas on the Richmond Road from the last match at the start of tonight's show though.

Just flipped over to & just seem to be showing CCTV of kids. Hardly ground breaking

Edit - looks like camera phone footage.

Four days in advance of a Bohs-Shamrock derby, they're going to show what in all probability will be a sensationalist portrayal of football hooliganism. How irresponsible is that? Why don't they run Green Day afterwards to keep the kids interested?

One of the Irish channels showed Green Street about two weeks ago bizarrely.

Possibly one of the worst films ever. The thought of Elijah Wood being able to fight anything other than a hobbit is just comical....

Sorry. Green Street. My grasp of detail seems as strong as a TV3 investigative reporter's. The name should have stuck, it was so memorably laughable.
