Should be posted in the Totty Watch thread to be honest..or at least marked NSFW.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
Thats a very horny piece of logo - istics, ooooohhhhhhhhh the branding.
Yep it looks quite foxy alright. I'm a self-confessed typeface geek and don't recognise the typeface, so it must be quite original. Nice work.
'Fascists dress in black and go round telling people what to do, where as priests.....'
anyone have this logo in .EPS format?
cheers
A new logo - I knew that was what was needed ! expect bar stoolers and nay sayers to come fooding into the grounds when they see this tasty little number. In the FAI we trust
Actually its the sort of forward thinking, slick branding and sensible realistic marketing strategy that we need to encourage and foster to shed the Ragball Rovers look of the league.
Will someone at the fans AGM please bring up the idea of using squad numbers with standardised letters/numbers?
That isn't really an answer to the question asked...
Anyway; I'm a big advocate of this, but the Wexford Youth model is a joke. The team they put out at Tolka this season began at number 27 and went north...Just because you give you team squad numbers, does NOT mean you must dispense with the numbers 1 to 11
HOTTTTT:Anyone have the logo's number?
I think its great that Wexford use squad numbers and all, my gripe is that it looks amateurish with Wexford Youths using them, and other clubs not. Even if it was decided all clubs wear squad numbers, it still looks like amateur hour if you have some teams togging out with names and numbers looking like they're from 1994. The Ireland team last night played with numbers in a certain font (probably Umbros) but it looked far more professional then going out with a a big black 4 that's peeling off at the sides while another team togs out in something else. Every other league in the Europe does this to help create a brand, and now we have a professional logo/type face bought by the FAI its time we follow suit to help leave the ragball rovers feel of the league behind.
