Exclusive: Keegan itching to go
Paul Keegan cannot wait to get started with Bohemians and he has told setanta.com that he is relishing the battle for a starting spot. The 24-year-old sealed a move to last year's double champions when he signed a one-year contract that manager Pat Fenlon had offered him.
After enjoying a few years at Drogheda United, he began searching for a new club when The Boynesiders revealed their difficult financial situation. There was talk of a move to Australia or a possible link up with a Dutch team, although the only offers that came through were from Bohemians and Coca-Cola League One side Millwall.
