    Miracle on Windmill Road

Due to previous recent decisions in Drogheda Utd’s individual High Court and other Examinership applications brought by shamrock rovers and cork city its likely that Drogheda will receive another favourable decision from the High Court soon.

The attention will then turn to the Football administrators and Committees representing the FAI on the decision on LoI Divisional places next season, but there will be pressure to make decisions which are detrimental to cork or drogs but maybe contrary to the decisions of the High Court in the clubs’ cases. This is in contrast to when shamrock rovers exited Examinership successfully, this was seen as a triumph for club football by some and not the precedent of permitting football clubs to renege on their debts it is viewed as today.

The football administrators will receive advice which includes not to make decisions which are extra-judiciary and going against the aspirations already made in the High Court. For if the Courts have already made decisions in favour of football clubs which are detrimental to their vulnerable Creditors who wash the skid-marks off the clubs kit, then it’s very likely the Courts will still favour the clubs over the protected FAI.

There will be individual fans insisting that the FAI should still make detrimental decisions towards some of those clubs even though in this litigious time that may not be the best course of action to take.

The Licensing Committee will make their decisions in February and it’ll include information based on confidential application and any continuing processes.

    wtf II ??

I think you're saying, (and i can't be too sure) that if the courts rule in favour of drogheda then there is nothing the fai can do to drogheda.

    I'll sum my reaction up in 2 words;

    "total b0llix"
Neale Fenn on retiring: 'I think once you finish you might as well finish rather than making all sorts of comebacks.'

    Alot of frustration out there.

It 'may not be the best course of action to take', and the last line of the OP confirms who makes the decision in mid-February.

Seriously, do you ever speak in a proper format?

Nearly every one of your posts just picks random words and put them anywhere into a sentence.

All creditors bar Revenue seem to have rolled over?

Though non-agreement from Revenue, didn't stop Cork being allowed out of Examinership.

Am I right in thinking this is in court at 11 this morning?

Oh and Harpo, out of curiosity is English your first language? You write like you haven't quite got a full grasp of English syntax.

There's an e-mail from the examiner on their forum saying today is just a five minute job and the main decision is next week.

Drogs might wish to dedicate this song to Ms. Justice Finlay Geoghan
