    Foot.ie! The Grass is Always Greener on the Other Side!

    Well, I'm new to this but I think football has took a turn for the worse in the past few years with good local clubs like Longford being relegated even though they played their hearts out for their last season in the Premier Division.Where has all the money gone from the league with the likes of Shelbourne and that. There's too much attention on money nowadays and not the game in hand. Look how much the players in The English Premiership are gettin. They could do wit a pay decrease, maybe they would work for their money then. More local lads should be encouraged to play and participate in games. Bring back the glory of the beautiful game...
