Rover's playing on Saturday evening's in Tallaght ?

Any truth in Rover's been asked to play on Saturday's evening's in Tallaght for 2009 season ?

I think the preffered night of SDCC and Tallaght Gardai was Saturday evening due to trafiic congestion in the area on Friday evenings. They said at the press conference to unveil the manager that most matches would be Saturdays, telivised games will still be Fridays.

Yes, the Square and the cops would prefer Sat nights and the club themselves also reckon that Sat nights @ 7 is the best time to attract local families along to the games.

However its been tried by several clubs and it hasn't worked out for them.

I thought part of the planning granted for the ground limited the amount of Friday night games (or school nights as I think it was termed)

Think it was 6 midweek games per season - Not sure if Friday was included in that.

From what's been said all those conditions went out the window because the original planning permission expired. The build by SDCC has no such conditions attached.
