I read in our local paper today that, Stephen Henderson is considering bolstering his squad with former Sligo player Carlos Alvarez, who is now playing at Duncannon United in Co. Wexford.

What's he like lads ?

would do a job i suppose in the 1st division. Wouldnt get near a Premier Division team. There are better options.

Depends really on the players he'll have round him, if they're good you'll not notice him, if they're bad then you'll not notice him.

The goal clubman is referring to is the goal Alvarez scored against Cobh into the railway end to give us a 2-1 win. Cue mad scenes of jubilation and Alvarez taking his shirt off and running to the dugout.
