Shamrock rovers are ready to announce a deal thet will give them a home in the New Year.
The hoops are in descussions with a major investor to strike a deal that will bring the builders back to their Tallaght home and have it ready for use in may. How long are we hearing this from them.
Also what do you think about the hoops link up with a basketball club???
A football club getting on bored with a basketball club.

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
Been so many stories with different financial deals be hard to know which one is true now. Last one i heard related to a third party leasing the bar in the ground, rovers getting a mortgage on that basis etc... I think the builder won't go back til all monies ready but once he goes back will stay to finish...Originally posted by ian

sounds like another bishopstown
Rover's have made nearly as many statements about big mystery investors as they have about denying they have a hooligan problem, and one is as believable as the other. As for the basketball (stupid sport anyway) thing, I say fair play. Lots of big clubs have teams in more than one sport- its pretty much the norm in Spain, and it does a lot to forge an identity for a club as a representative of the community as a whole, not just of one sport.
