    Exclamation Goal of the season

    John O'Flynn

    City V Drogs (i think)

He rounded three players and curved the ball blindly into the top left hand corner. Pure skill ..... A cut above the rest.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Best for me was Gary Beckett's against Cork at the Brandy in May.

Took the ball from midfield on the right, took it in past 2 defenders, and a screamer into the top left corner. It was in the 90th minute to give us a 1-0 win.

Off the top of my head
-)Oflynns against us at the cross were he chipped the keeper without looking up.
    -)Omans goal against shels
-)Lavines goal against shels in tolka, were he crossed it into the top corner(and ment it )
-)Barrets second against limerick in the cup

I have lots more but can't tink of them at the moment
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

    ...........................................

Could be something to do with goals being televised but .....

Does everyone think that the standard of goals scored this season has really improved. I know i have seen some great individual goals but the passages of play before goals has gotten really good. Some of Bohs goals were really well worked this year. The same goes for most teams.

Can't argue with that. Sligo would possibly get goals no1 & 2 od the season from that game...

What happened the tv3 goals of the month? Surely they'll do an end of season competition...?
