The main thing is that the match this weekend gets coverage and that there is a big crowd.
If I send you up some posters will you stick them up?
in tonights leader John, not that he doubted the team suddenly realizes that we're in the promotion shake up. following on his exclusive in the weekend edition about the travel company which can bring you too all the premership games for half nothing to see real football, he gets the messege when Limerick beat Harps. He points an acusing finger at all the doubters who havent belived in the team and firmly nails his colours to the mast. He then says that limerick are on a nine (9) game unbeaten run and names the games and scores to fill his article. we are of course on a ten (10) game unbeated run but dont let John onto this he might get tomorrows article out of it. gotta love the gitt for his ****!

Just on Limerick's coverage in the local press. I presume the local papers down there accept notes from local clubs/organistations/groups etc? Surely they would accept them from the Supporters Club then? Make sure yourselves that you get the coverage for upcoming games etc.

They were given a Supporters' Club notes by myself - and they never ran it. We were told that we would not get as much space as a Junior club. The Man Utd Supporters club is reguarily given back page billing and about 4 to 5 times the space Limerick FC is given (except in the occurence that they provide a picture of a different team and claim it's Limerick FC).
To put it bluntly the Limerick Leader is a joke. And it's all down to their sports "editor" Mr O'Wafflesy.
