Plane Crash into Hudson River, New York

135 on board...Reports still coming in.
Did you ever notice that in every painting of Adam & Eve, they have belly buttons. Think about that...take as long as you want.

Not the first passenger airliner to go down soon after taking off from a New York airport. Although I think all others left JFK.

There was one that witnesses reported was struck from below over the Atlantic (1999?). A flight to Dominica which crashed into a residential area and an Air Egypt flight. I felt there was a problem in the area.

Eyewitnesses are saying it may have hit a flock of geese. No fatalities reported so far. That would be miraculous.

No casualties reported so far - that includes injuries. It must have been a very smooth emergency landing.

By all accounts the physics of landing on water is pretty much akin to landing (without landing gear) on a ploughed field.

    What a pilot!

Crazy that there's very little injuries.

150 passengers (+5 staff) on board according to FAA, everyone off the plane and accounted for.

This is all over Sky News. There are probably dozens of Palestinians being slaughtered right now, but 135 White fat Americans are infinitely more important, I guess.

With a statement like that, is it unreasonable to assume that the operation of a remote control is beyond your comprehension?

I think a plane landing in a River in one of the worlds busiest cities with all on board surviving and only minor injuries is pretty newsworthy regardless of what else is going on it the world.

The only injury I've reported is a leg fracture for one of the flight attendants.

that was nice of you. Hope shes alright.

seriously though, fair f*ckin play to the pilots on this one. The more i think about this the more impressive/lucky it seems!!!
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.
