Great win for ye. Have not seen Eris b play, but if Partry beat them they cant be great. Ye look the team to beat.

Have you seen Partry play? I don't think so or you wouldn't have made such a nonsensical statement. Partry will be there or thereabouts this season and apart from the derby loss in the first game have been good value for their two wins so far.

Not much difference in class between the divisions it would appear.

Missing 6 first teamers and playing in a cup we don't care about
You don't think that justifys your original statement do you?
You can't make a statement about a team unless you have ACTUALLY seen them play! That is insulting in the extreme.

How do you know what the premier division is like when all ye have played is 1 team from the division that prob had a poor team out cause they would not want to cup tie any A team players. You can comment on the division when ye get there.....

Two premier division sides defeated at home to lower division sides. All I am saying is the quality of football between the divisions (excluding the SL) is not that great. Furthmore the fact that you admitt that "B" teams need "A" players to get results goes to prove that maybe those teams are punching above their weight and would struggle without them

You can hardly say that a team like Erris that got to an all ireland semi final would have a B team not good enough for the mayo premier division. Our A team bet a westport team that had 5 first team players playing that day so maybe the standard of our division is not that bad after all

Just because an A team is doing well and has good players does not automatically mean that the B team will be just as good. Some super league teams have B teams playing in lower divisions, but that doesnt sugest for 1 minute that they r entitled to be in the premier division. I remember 2 seasons ago whe Erris A finished just above the drop zone in the SL. My suggestion was that there is not a great deal between the lower division sides and in some cases promotion and relegation can be down to the hop of the ball or poor refereeing decisions on any given day. Having said all that Eris B are a very good side and I think they will do very well this season even if they dont have any A players

Long way to go but if we can hold on to all our players i would like to think we will be in with a shout come September. Thankfully we are no longer depending on any GAA lads and have soccer only squad, so unless lads leave looking for work we could do O.K. Good foundation laid with 4 from 4 this term so lets hope we can build on it. Your A team are flying also with 3 from 3 so lets hope we bring some silverware to the east of the county
