Because he wants to wind down. Vinny is 33 and has a family to rear. Vinny will give invaluable experience to the kiddies in the squad!!

Cant see anyone stopping that team. Does anybody here think they have played or seen a team capable of challenging for the title.

I think Chris Ryder has signed A and I would imagine Ray Mc Loughlin has too but I'm not sure. Either way this team will walk the league. The experience Brian and Vinny will bring them will be massive. Loads of young lads coming through too. Has it been decided what happens if one of the B teams comes in the top 2? Does it mean a super league team stays up? Think there has been a rule change...

Have to agree that they are VERY strong, in saying that IF we took our chances and kidnapped O'Malley we could have sneaked it
That Ryder lad was handy on the left and Ray McLoughlin was spraying the ball around the back.
Not sure about the keeper though, not hectic kickouts so could be a weak link, in saying that our keeper was quite "Graham Norton" in some of the clearances on Sunday

Who will stop them God knows, Swinford I have not seen yet, Erris could be strong if they keep Carolan in the squad and fit.

Yes we had a good team out also, the difference was VOM, if he was on the end of our chances maybe it would have us 3-0 up and thats no disrespect to the lads who had our chances, none were easy.

Robbie played well in a midfield role.

Was at the swinford v westport game this evening, great display from swinford.Would have kept a clean sheet only for a soft peno given by a shocking call by the ref.Great start to the year,if they can keep this form up they will be hard bet.

Yeah think so i heard one of the boys saying they had five or six first teamers playing. Big keeper called martin,A centre back think they were calling him brian.left back called ray, some vinny lad upfront, nice player and a couple of midfielders.
I thought Swinford were too fit for them, gave them no chance to play.Sean Kav has them in great shape.

it was a good game between two good teams but ye are all getting carry away - only 3 games play - however i think these 2 teams and erris b will decide the premier division this year ..... but its an awful long way to go - partry could be a surprise package
