Dan Connor off to Aston Villa for training?

Saw a story that Connor is off to Villa for training/trial to get up to speed after his injury and may then move on to Barnet for more of the same.

Any truth in this?

Yes, he is training with Villa for a while. Don't know anything about his plans after that.

Tim Dalton, the Drogs keeper coach is good friends with one of the Villa coaches and organised for Dan to do 2-3 weeks of training alongside the likes of Brad Friedel and Brad Guzan to regain match sharpness. Basically thats the general gist

Apparently Connor knows the Barnet manager from his Peterborough days and John O Flynn is at Barnet too.
