tony Tynan has been approached to rejoin City......

he should never have been let go IMO. How did he do at Queenstown?

He is still with Ramblers, and from what ive seen of him this season, he is an alright 1st Division player, but i couldnt see him make the grade in the premier division. He comes under a lot of stick at Cobh, he is one of these lazy geniuses, in that he goes missing for 3/4 of the game, but will do a few bits of magic.

Cant see how he would improve our squad at all. That said, i'd like to be proved wrong!

100% agree with ya there. Never could figure out just why we let one of our best players, at the time, go. Of course the likes of Murphy couldn't manage a p**sup in a brewery which probably accounts for it.

tyan looked good for a while, was too light, got knocked off the ball v easily, and had the habit of taking on as many players as he could until more often then not he lost the ball. and while i wouldnt have gotten rid of him to ramblers.. to say he was on of our best players at the time... well its just WRONG

You must have, and are you SURE about that? Love to smoke some of what you're on. Tynan was a great player cast aside while his star was on the rise by a manager who really hadn't a clue about football.

Tynan looked good in a couple of sub appearances in a team full of hoofers. He was then let go by Shels after a trial, and then let go by Kilkenny after a few months. Doesn't sound that great to me. He hasn't impressed me greatly since he left City, and I've seen him a few times.

Or to me, just making the point that we did the wrong thing letting him go when we did. His star's fallen so far I doubt it'll find an upward curve again. IMO, we're best off leaving this one and looking elsewhere, especially if we really are the progressive, ambitious club we claim to be.

I reckon that Pat Dolan is the right man to get the best out of TT.Ye must all be forgetting that the whole of the cross would shout for him to be brought on and when he did play he lit up the place(ollie Cahill style).

He should never have been let go in the first place,the reason he was was that Gunther thought he was too much of a Jack the lad.True maybe, from my own experiences talking to Tony in Waxys or Henrys when he was fairly mouldy.

He cant be after getting crap over night,give him a chance i say,who nows he might fill our left wing spot which seems to be jinxed since Money bags Cahill left
