Sunday Indo Tribute to Nik Leeson today

did anyone see the piece on sunday indo today about the pyramid schemer in the states who lost 50billion. The guy that wrote the piece seemed a bit perplexed that our beloved united are still alive while banks, solicitors and builders are gone whallop. What he doestn seem to realise is that utd have probably the most experience in boom and bust cycles of anyone in the world. In fact we are probaly world leaders in this sphere having regular 4 year repeats over the last 30 years kinda like the olympians of this kind of crises that everyone is caught up in...

Is 'Nick' really that hard to spell....?

Do Galway United really have world-leading experience in boom and bust ?

And why is the milka cow so lilac-y ?

Seems there must be something in the water over Galway-way that impacts rudimentary literacy...

not the book of kells we are writing. Jeez some lads spend a few years at university and they become like "english" experts. Too much time spent in the UK derry fans I think. Get over yourselves. I am well able to read and write but when it comes to forums or texts forgive me and half the world for some sloppiness.. tut tut

The fact that half the forum had no clue what you were trying to say should perhaps make you think about the purpose of 'written language.'

Says the person who, when faced with an infinite choice of user names, chose to select the title 'geezer'.

    The beautiful irony....

The Nick Leeson article in the Independent gave him undeserved credit.
