    What happened Benno?

I could be all wrong on this one but did anyone see Bennet run to the dressing room once Colin P came on last night........and did not return?

Was he throwing a tantrium or was there an inniocent explaination to all this.

I'd say it was simply in order to get in from the dreadful conditions.

ONE OF MY BIGGEST CRITICISMS OF DOLAN IS HIS REFUSAL TO GIVE BENNO (****, sorry, caps) a proper run. The guy is a hundred times the player Coughlan ever was/will be. He had a blinder Vs shams, even prompting Dolan to say that he is the "very spirit of CCFC", then what does he do, drops him to the bench. Story there like.

We are on a cráp run, and everyone knows you dont change a winning team, so surely one should adjust a losing/ constant drawing team?

Also, i would like if one of our residents statos showed a form guide since Coughlan rejoined. id hazard we have leaked more points than beofre????

So Derek is the reason why the whole team has played ****e consistantly and not picked up results?
Forget the fact out top scorer is out injured and we are playing a youth player in the midfield anyway.

Derek has done well after taking a few games to settle in. Our defense is still 2nd best in the league & only shels have had more clean sheets.

We do have a problem scoring goals but that might have something to do with that guy whatshisname whose injured.

Where are you getting your stats Pete ....

Can you find out if Bennett, when in the back four had more clean sheets than Coughlan. A ratio or something. Might make interesting reading.

    Here are the stats..........!

Benno played in 5 games where we had clean sheets.
Coughlan played in 8 games ( counting last nights ).

If you give them a half each for the 1-0 win vs Rovers when Coughlan came on at half time the it stands at 5.5 to 8.5 in favour of Coughlan.

    Only counting League games above.

That is very surprising, i would have never thought it. Maybe our criticism is unfounded?

agree 100% coughlan has not been a good signing, he has made Dan Murray a worse player and has been a negative influence on the team as a whole IMO. Look at the highlights of the Derry game- the two late chances they got, he was hopelessly out of position for both. He keeps getting in Murray's way. You can debate all you want about whether Derek is a better player than Benno or not, the only thing that concerns me is that Dan and benno was a better partnership.

What games were they though ..... even so, i'd be far more confident with Bennett at the back than Derek. He was good the first time round for City but dont like him with us now. Might not be him, just the players around him, i just dont think he is suited is all.
