    prob the worst plan ever!

if carlsberg mad bad ideas last night would have prob have been the worst ever....
myself rebel norrie and sean leave the pale by bus @ 4.00.... run into a traffic jam because of a crash on the naas road... reach city west by 5.30...already know well miss kick off.... get texts on the bus saying city are 1 then 2 down after 5 mins...
eventually arrive in waaaaaherford at 7.50, get to the ground 5 mins before half time.....
waterford kill a gutless city and should have scored 3 in the second half.... city create 1 chance, georgie beats about 4 players.. gives billy woods a super ball but alas billys a defender and didnt even get a shot in...
city looked like they didnt give a sh1t.. bar george, hoggie and doyle.. city suppoters deserve more than that performance from dan as well...
out on the **** in waaaaherford...
up @ 6.15am for first train back to the pale.... straight to work from the train an hour late....

least you would expect was a hard fought gutsy performance from the lads.. they just bent over and took it

Been there done that a few times.

Impossible to leave dublin city centre at 4pm & make ko at Turners Cross, RSC, Terryland or the Brandywell.

In my experience generally just about possible to make half time at the venues mentioned...

    Twas a bad plan alright

I went back to Limerick afterwards, just made last pint in the UL pub so all wasnt lost.

That bus was shocking, but telling Northofthelee that we were walking from Naas was good fun. I even made it to work on time, first train from Limerick.

I lerned a lesson, dont do stupid away trips like that again.
    Oh no not them again

I'm thinking..arriving at the Brandywell shortly before half-time and getting beaten in the last minute of the game cause City were doing their "there's only 20mins left...might as well hang on for a draw" crap.
