Will take me a few days to trawl through some papers but should be able to get you all the details
I've a request for information which might actually be better placed in the Ireland forum, but as it's fifty odd years ago I'll try it here first.
Tommy Fitzgerald, of one of Waterford's most famous football clans, won 11 amateur caps for Ireland during the period 1955-58. His family have received due recognition from the FAI (via John Delaney) but are keen to get as much info about the games as possible - venues/opponents/results etc...
If anyone on foot has any relevant information, or knows where it might be found, that would be most appreciated.
Thank you.

I don't have the lineups but we only played 2 amateur Internationals in that period.
15/5/57 Leeuwarden Holland 2 Ireland 2
30/4/58 Dublin Ireland 1 Holland 1
I can't find any reference to Tommy Fitzgerald in the material I have. Sorry

No prob, Soccerc, thanks for looking.
Thanks too, Gary, wonder where they got 11 out of, maybe the years given to me are wrong.

I wonder do the "amateur" internationals actually refer to Inter-League games? The League of Ireland played 2 or 3 inter-league games a year in those days.
