    Question What day?

Is everyone sure its thursday next week?

about 30 ish at least were at the pats and Bray games in the pale, so probably around the same
IMO be lucky if there 30.

9 points from next 3 games would set us up nicely but a draw on sunday & 2 wins next week wouldn't be bad either.

The number 10 southbound will take you all the way to Belfield. You have a five minute walk to the ground from the bus stop.
There's nowhere good to have a drink after so don't bother sticking about. The team of old used to go to the Montrose for a sambo and a brew. Don't know what they do after games these days.

Flew by Manhattan on Wednesday on my way to Newark.
Sureal is the only way to describe the skyline.
Still a cloud of dust/smoke where the WTC once stood.

Who thinks up of these !!

I got a mail today, and it goes like this

In Microsoft Word type in Q33NY the flight number of the plane that crashed into the Twin Towers, enlarge it to font size 72 and change the font to Wingdings (the first one on the list)

Now either some knows their wingdings or this is strange.

Hate to confuse things, but I actually thought it was on Tuesday!
I'll get back as soon as I have confirmed from the UCD end.

UCD normally play homes on Thurs evenings, but this is one of two extra games being fitted into a compressed season, Galway was the other one last Tuesday. AFAIK, the UCD game is next Tuesday and I'll confirm this asap. I've already mailed UCD about it and am waiting for their answer. The impatient among you could ring the CCFC Secretary

Joseph, you must have misinterpreted my last posting. I am a very serious person at all times. As becomes a programme editor, naturally.

You're so much *better* connected than me, James! Or did you ring the Sec?
All my contacts must be out to lunch...(since about 11 am!)

    Gerry

Anyway, good to have it sorted. Maybe one of the admins might post the confirmation at the start of a thread, just in case somebody misses it way down here?

    UCD

Bus: Get 46A from Fleet Street (by O'Connell bridge & around the corner from the Merchandiser United shop). I'm sure theres a bus that actually goes to UCD itself which should be on the dublin bus site. If anyone needs proper directions just ask..........

Match Day: Seems everyone else is either playingt next tuesday or wednesday. UCD then play $hel$ teh sunday after so really could be any day next week. And to think people call it a mickey mouse league. I wonder why?

    FAO Face:
I got the plane number thing too. also forwarded it on but i;ve been told thats not actually the plane number at all. i.e. its a hoax.
