    Cahill Brandywell bound?

Strong rumours about that Ollie Cahill is set to sign for Derry on a free, I'd be delighted if this happens.
I'd rather die laughing than trying!

What age is he now ? Must be pushing on a bit.
    Anyway thought ye were going part-time ? he'd hardly want a part-time contract ?

    You thought wrong.

He is around 33, can still play a bit even though he has lost a bit of pace. I'd certainly have him at the club anyway.

    We're not going part-time.

DCFC chairman Pat McDaid - quoted in Derry Journal:

"We see a reduction to probably 15 full-time professionals, supplemented by younger players who are attempting to break into the first team. Obviously, we're very conscious of the fact that the product on the pitch will be reflected on the terraces. We will be involved in five competitions next season and while it will be an exciting time for the club, we must balance the books."

Right, for the fourth time in the thread, you imbecile - we're not going part time.

Now, do you understand that or do you want it written in gibberish?

Have you a link to any article that stated that Derry were going part time?

No you are simply imagining things. It was never said at any stage that Derry were going part time.

Thank god he failed a medical, not the type of player I want to see at Derry.

I would be delighted if we signed Liam Kearney tho.

Bang on. Much better to have around that the peanut headed midget from Cork. Sure he'd have to pronounce his name properly and all if he signed.

Two All Ireland under 21 hurling semi finals in two years, if we had a few experienced hurlers up here you never know what we might be able to do
