    Harps downed by resurgent Limerick

    Finn Harps 0-1 Limerick FC
    A first half goal from top scorer Derek McCarthy gave on-form Limerick FC a massive victory over Finn Harps to put Limerick into the top four and knock Harps off the summit of the First Division table.

    Harps led the division before kick-off, but were missing several first-team players due to injury, illness and suspension, and Limerick took advantage to take all three points.

    Mike Kerley’s side, who have been locked in a financial crisis for the past three months, have now gone eleven games unbeaten, and have won their last four to move ahead of Kildare County on goal difference.
