Father Ted is not home produced. It would be like saying Braveheart was an Irish movie.

Two Irish men thought of the Idea and pitched it to several companies, they then became two main producers. It has a mostly Irish cast and shot in a lot of Irish locations. Don't think it should be rule out just because they used a British company's money

The first series of "Proof" was a pretty good stab at a decent drama series. Second one was a bit tired but alright.

Also Who Do You Think You Are? was very good.

I thought it was poor compared to the UK version - amazing how all the celebraties had to get a nice trip out of it somehow as well.

Scannal is worth catching, but I'd struggle beyond that really. Some of the documentaries are well produced, but too much bias really - a general problem with RTE imo (too much from the FFactual dept.)
