Easy way to fund any club...

    An idea,
get 400 fans min to pay €10 per week direct debit for the year into the club. This returns €208,000. This would be more attrative to fans alike then asking for a lareg lump sum in these bad times at beginning of season. For season ticket & this could involve allowing a named under age child in for free also to games.
This would also be good for local business's to get involved to do same try and get another large quanity of them, they could write this expense to tax so wouldnt cost them much but would help our local game and developed. Give them free entry and an ad in the programme for them. Any one who avails of this ticket scheme would be entitled to get tickets for any glamour games limerick or any club would have lined up. If you were to get these numbers as above you could go to any bank and get substanstial funding to develop a ground to attract more fans. Eg if you were to pay back 100,000 every year in loan for 20 years could get close to 2 million. An avarage first division club cost 155,000 to run a season use a 100,000 from above and hopefully get an extra 200 fans at gate that didnt avail fot ticket scheme at €15 per game for 20 games min would generate €60,000 along with the 100k would deffently pay its way. Thats how you can fund a club in these bad times. Look at munster membership at approx €100 euro and they have over 20,000 every year paying that, returns €2 million

Find me 400 Limerick fans who'd be willing to do this, or indeed small businesses who can justify even this minor expense to their bank manager and I'll collect the money in a shoe box for the year.
