Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.

He was in the dug out for one competitive game, last game of the 2006 season Vs. Bray.
Was given free role with transfers and that in pre-season but was never officially given a contract. Think he left by mutual consent. Weird situation to say the least.
Glad he didn't stay because we wouldn't have Cook if he had. Not sure what sort of job he'd do with Cork, he stressed his desire to play 4-3-3 football with us, which seems weird to know yer exact formation before you've seen any players or what the teams are like.

I think McDonald had a major hand in our decision to go full-time, which ultimately put us in the position we were in this season.
He signed a lot of very questionable players for us, while forcing out players like O'Grady who couldn't commit to full-time (of course, he came back when McDonald left)
His playing and coaching career seems to also suggest that he can't/won't stick any job for very long.
He singed some great players for us though..Kevin Julian, Timoslave Acarba, Steve Manson![]()
Back of todays Echo saying David Geddis has been interviewed.
"Must you tell me all your secrets when it's hard enough to love you knowing nothing."

They can't afford to pay the wages of the players they have/had and all their linked with is expensive managers with expensive wages.
LESS OF THE BULL NOW!
Will the nightmare of the Arkaga experience and its aftermath ever end? Ive been a city supporter since the club was founded and I thought I had seen it all but the last year or so has just left me so down hearted. For the first time ever I even started to miss loads of games and only went now and again to the cross. And its not just city its the whole league.

Recently sacked Bournmouth Manager Jimmy Quinn is the newest name being mentioned on the Cork City forum.
Back of todays echo says that Curtis Fleming was interviewed for the City job yesterday by TC.
I wonder what name Tom Coughlan will draw out of the hat tomorrow??........Mike Bassett maybe?
